Smart Whiteboard Wallcovering is very beneficial to our company. In our old office, we mainly used whiteboards. Choose Smart Whiteboard Wallpaper to create a high-quality non-ghosting whiteboard surface. Its applied just like a traditional wallpaper and works just like a traditional whiteboard only much bigger

To apply whiteboard wallpaper or magnetic whiteboard wallpaper you simply apply the Smarter Surfaces wallpaper adhesive to the wall ( two coats).

Then apply the wallpaper like any traditional wallpaper, use a flat plastic edge to push out any air bubbles and trim to size with a sharp knife.

You can add more rolls to cover an entire wall by simply pushing two or more rolls together along the edge.

How is Smart Whiteboard Wallpaper applied?

Our whiteboard wallpapers are designed to be applied to smooth surfaces. They can also be applied to curved walls. Ensure all debris and previous wallpapers have been removed. Absorbent surfaces should be treated with a primer before application.

Only absorbent surfaces should be treated with a primer before application. If the surface is uneven you can also apply primer to smooth out the surface.

Your whiteboard can be wiped clean with a regular dry or slightly damp cloth. For easier cleaning, you can also use any standard Whiteboard Cleaning Spray. For tough or stubborn marks, we recommend customers use our Permanent Ink Remover.

During the first 30 days from application, we recommend cleaning your surface every day using the supplied Smart Micorfibre Cloth. After 30 days it is recommended to thoroughly clean the surface weekly with a standard whiteboard cleaner.

Continued use of alcohol on Smart Whiteboard Wallpaper may deteriorate the integrity of your surface and reduce performance.

No, like any regular whiteboard, Smart Whiteboard Wallpaper is not compatible with permanent markers.

If permanent markers are used on Smart Whiteboard Wallpaper, we advise using our Permanent Ink Remover to remove.

It may be possible to remove a permanent marker by writing over it with a whiteboard marker.

This will ‘wet’ the ink again, thus making it easier to remove. Wait two minutes, then wipe off. If this fails to work, use Permanent Ink Remover available from our web store.

This is a specialised cleaner designed to remove permanent marker, stubborn stains and ghosting from whiteboards and Whiteboard Wallpaper surfaces.

Whiteboard wallpaper from Smarter Surfaces is effectively a wallpaper just like a traditional wallpaper but with a whiteboard layer on top so it performs just like a whiteboard once its applied to a wall or smooth surface just like a traditional wallpaper

The main difference between whiteboard wallpaper or magnetic whiteboard wallpaper and whiteboard paint is the application method.

Whiteboard paint is applied with a brush where the whiteboard wallpaper is not.

One advantage of the whiteboard paint is the fact there are no joints when you cover a large surface.

The advantage of the magnetic whiteboard wallpaper is its magnetic function and its speed of installation and its a factory standard finish.

Any high quality whiteboard markers, like those found in our range, can be used.

Smart Whiteboard Wallpaper can be applied using a ready mixed heavy duty wallpaper adhesive. Simply apply the adhesive to the wall using a roller and then apply the whiteboard wallpaper.

At the joint, overlap the dry erase vinyl and double cut right through with a sharp blade. This will minimize the appearance of seams on your whiteboard surface.

Smart Whiteboard Wallpapers can be hung horizontally or vertically, depending on your preference. We recommend hanging the writing wallpaper horizontally to minimize seams on writing areas.

Smart Whiteboard Wallpaper is an easy to hang writable wallcovering that offers a smooth seamless dry erase surface that is ready to use in just 24 hours. We recommend professional installation for best results

Smart Whiteboard Wallpaper is extremely easy to apply and can be hung horizontally, vertically and even on curved rounded walls. We recommend hanging the wallpaper horizontally to facilitate working at eye level.

It is vital that your surface is smooth before application. Really absorbent surfaces, such as new plaster, should be treated with a primer before application. We recommend using our Smart White Primer as it has been tested to work with our wallcoverings

When your surface is ready, roll the wallpaper out on the floor for measuring and cutting. Measure the wallpaper to the desired length and cut with sharp scissors

Add 10% water if required to the ready mixed heavy duty adhesive and stir to ensure a smooth consistency. Apply two coats of this adhesive to the wall with a roller. Allow the first coat of adhesive to become touch dry before applying the second coat of adhesive. You can then hang the whiteboard wallcovering.

Once the dry erase wallpaper has been applied you must wait 24 hours before using the surface. A full and much more detailed application guide is available to help you apply our whiteboard wallcovering.
