So you want to update your office but are looking for some inspiration?

Aside from some obvious ideas like buying pot plants or new crockery, here are some ideas you might not have considered before, if you are new to functional paints or wallcoverings :

Whiteboard Walls

If any of your people are lucky enough to sit beside a wall, simply use whiteboard paint to convert that wall-space into a huge write-on wipe-off area. In our office, people love to get a desk beside the wall, and everyone uses their whiteboard walls in so many different ways.

Pizza Fridays !

Convert the narrowest of space in your office into a write-on wipe-off wall. We painted the narrow strip between two doors in green and then topped that with our clear whiteboard paint. Now on Pizza Fridays, everyone just writes their preferred toppings on the wall, so it’s really easy to order for a group without endless emails. And of course, it wipes off instantly.

Customer Walls

We used magnetic paint on a foot wide wall space just outside our kitchen. This space would otherwise have been unused. Now we print out logos from exciting and new customers and stick them on the wall. This engages people from other departments to see what cool brands are joining our smart walls revolution !

Inspiration Walls

We stole this idea from one of our customers. Get your team to stick ideas and dreams on a wall. Print out photos, memories, pictures of mountains – whatever inspires you and your team.

Consider a Digital Print

There are so many amazing choices of digital prints available nowadays. You can even customise your own with you logo or any image. Max that digital print with magnetic paint or plaster underneath for added magnetic functionality. Or topcoat your digital print with clear whiteboard paint so its dry erase as well.

What about a Map showing customers or targets ?

The wall most looked at in our office is a map of the world. We sell and ship our products all over the world so we bought an off the shelf world map. Then we coated it in our clear whiteboard paint. Now we can colour it in, write on it, identify target areas, rank markets. Its so useful for our sales and management people for planning yet also looks great.

Colour !

Did you know you can have a magnetic or dry erase wall in any colour ? Choose a colour from your brand or choose a colour to work on your space e.g. a bright colour for a dark room. Just put magnetic paint underneath the paint colour, put the clear dry erase coating on top of your chosen paint colour.

Projector Area with Border Tape

To save money, get rid of clunky screens and make your office super-efficient, simply paint a designated area with our projector paint (non dry erase). This is a matt white paint that prevents hot-spotting and which you can use with any projector. Jazz up the space with border tape. For those with a steady hand, use masking tape to mark up an unusual projector outline.
