CDE’s global headquarters is in Cookstown, Northern Ireland. This is the world’s largest campus dedicated to the wet processing of materials in the sand & aggregates, mining, C&D waste recycling, industrial sands and environmental sectors.
Since 1992, CDE has grown to be the largest wet processing equipment company in the world. Their customer list includes most of the major players across the 5 sectors where they work.
CDE were looking for a solution to map projects, from end to end, with some projects having varying end dates. To do so, they compared magnetic and dry erase functionality in both glass-boards and whiteboard walls.
3 Reasons Smarter Surfaces Wins over Glass-boards
The result ? Whiteboard walls from Smarter Surfaces won against glass boards.
Why ? They gave three reasons why they preferred whiteboard walls to glass walls. First, magnetic functionality performed better on our products than on glass. Second, using glass restricts users to just the colour of the glass. CDE really liked the design functionality of our whiteboard paint in a clear finish. Third, our finish was a more modern look.
Check out how they got colour as well as functionality. They used a digital print for killer design, but also achieved magnetic and dry erase functionality too.
Get Design with Magnetic and Dry Erase Functionality
To get the same look as CDE, here are the products they used :
- Apply 3-4 coats of Smart Magnetic Paint (if you want magnetic functionality)
- Install your chosen digital print.
- Coat the digital print with a Clear sealer.
- Topcoat with Smart Wall Paint in a clear finish.
The result ? – your chosen design plus magnetic and dry erase functionality. And one great looking wall for tracking your projects.
